By connecting to MacLink Internet, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Acceptable Use

You may use MacLink Internet for lawful purposes only. You must not use the service in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations.

2. Copyright Infringement — Strictly Prohibited

Downloading, uploading, or sharing copyrighted material without authorisation is strictly prohibited. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Using BitTorrent or any peer-to-peer (P2P) file-sharing software
  • Downloading pirated movies, TV shows, music, software, or games
  • Accessing torrent indexing or tracker websites
  • Streaming or sharing content from unauthorised sources

MacLink Internet operates under an ISP Acceptable Use Policy. Copyright infringement by any user on our network puts the entire service at risk of suspension. Any user found to be infringing copyright will have their account terminated immediately without refund.

3. Prohibited Activities

The following are also strictly prohibited:

  • Hacking, network scanning, or any unauthorised access to other systems
  • Sending spam or unsolicited bulk messages
  • Running servers or services that consume excessive bandwidth
  • Any activity that degrades the quality of service for other users
  • Sharing your login credentials with others

4. Account Termination

MacLink Internet reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account at any time, without prior notice, if the account holder is found to be violating these terms. No refund will be issued for terminated accounts.

5. Network Monitoring

MacLink Internet monitors network traffic for the purpose of enforcing these terms and maintaining service quality. By connecting, you consent to this monitoring. Session logs including device identifiers, IP addresses, and connection timestamps are retained and may be provided to authorities upon lawful request.

6. Bandwidth & Fair Use

The service is shared among all connected users. Excessive bandwidth consumption that affects other users may result in throttling or suspension of your account.

7. Liability

MacLink Internet is not liable for any damages, losses, or legal consequences arising from your use of the service. You are solely responsible for your online activity while connected to the network.

8. Changes to These Terms

MacLink Internet may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
